All this month I’ve been writing about the ways to include natural health in your life without negatively impacting time or money. There are always ways to improve what we do, what we use or where we want to go next but it all comes down to a key question — what is most important to us?
Even if money and time were not limited we still need to make choices. We still have to determine what is best for us, how we will get it and what that looks like. It is most likely different for all of us but the common thread is we can make choices that are right for our particular circumstances and life without impacting our time or money negatively.
The truth, whether we want to admit it or not, is that we need to change what we are doing in our lives that is contributing to the larger pollution problem of our planet and our health. We all realize there are changes necessary on a micro and macro level that influence all that we depend on to live every day. Depending solely on the government, our community or even our doctor is not going to make diseases go away, our golden years more secure or the planet a safer place to live. The choices we make influence that outcome every day.
The ability to influence those changes in a small way by reducing our toxic load and exposures is a fantastic first step. It is not all that we can do but it is a crucial step to recognizing how to solve these problems in our health. Doing so also helps us realize the possibility of what of greater changes we can make and contribute on. The time and money saved from just these small changes is significant and opens the possibility of larger changes that can really change our life.
If we really want to preserve our time and money then we have to get serious about how we live. This doesn’t mean we have to live off the grid and eat only granola in our bare feet but it does mean looking at our consumption of goods and what is in them. What are we putting in and on our body? What are we feeding out family? How are we spending the money we have and is it serving and supporting our health? What happens when we finish that product? Where does it go? How was it made? What impact is it having on our environment?
If you want to change the world, make it better for your children then it starts with every day making the choices that make that change possible. The good news it can be part of our daily life without giving up more time and money to influence those changes. Start with 1 household cleaner, 1 personal care product or totally overhaul it all at once but the optimal word is start.
Can you really change your life with a small bottle of essential oil or a natural household cleaner? From my own personal experience both personally and professionally with using these products I say yes you can. For me, I never thought of owning my own business before but now I do. I never thought I’d change my household and personal products but I have. There has been a financial and time savings I have seen from these changes and it’s exhilarating.
