All this month we have been sharing strategies for deepening our self-love and how doing so will influence what and who is around us. The premise being that all the incredible things we want to achieve and have in our life is possible when we start with who we are and loving that person. Today, we’re going to share some uplifting and positive application blends that can support you during the times you are working through this soulful definition.
I am a big fan of the book I am Fabulous book by Desiree Mangandog, LAc, MSTOM.
When I think of self-love support oils this is my go-to reference book. Inside the cover are beautiful descriptions that seem to perfectly describe what I am feeling and what oils can help me with those feelings. There are specific oils that can enhance feelings that we want to build on or that support those moments when we are reflecting, meditating or journaling to figure things out.
Here are my top 3 blends from this wonderful book as it relates to our monthly self-love theme.
I Love Myself
The book describes this oil blend as ideal for when we are feeling low in our self-esteem and not as worthy as we truly are. These oils work together to help support confidence and assurance that you are truly a beautiful, unique, worthy creation.
In a 5ml roller ball bottle add:
12 drops Grapefruit
8 drops Eucalyptus
5 drops Coriander
3 drops Ginger
2 drops Cinnamon
1 drop Lemon
1 drop Lavender
1 drop Spearmint
Fill rest with fractionated coconut oil.
Connected
This oil blend is a reassuring oil against those times we feel alone. Many times when we are figuring out who we are, we can feel incredibly lonely and that can result in decisions we may not otherwise have made. This oil blend helps us feel that solid footing of connection to ourself and others.
In a 5ml roller ball bottle add:
8 drops Cedarwood
5 drops Cassia
5 drops Wild Orange
3 drops Grapefruit
3 drops Marjoram
2 drops Ylang Ylang
Fill rest with fractionated coconut oil
Clarity
I love this blend for those times when I’m sitting down to assess, reflect and prepare for changes in my life but am unsure where to start or how to motivate to make it happen.
In a 5ml roller ball bottle add:
5 drops Eucalyptus
3 drops Douglas Fir
5 drops Lemon
2 drops Peppermint
1 drop Rosemary
1 drop Melissa
1 drop Wintergreen
3 drops Lemongrass
1 drop Cardamon
Fill rest with fractionated coconut oil.
